Welcome to our Unit 1 course about Belize! This interactive course is designed for children ages 4-12 to learn all about this beautiful country.
Throughout this course, children will explore the geography, culture, wildlife, and traditions of Belize through fun and engaging activities such as virtual field trips, interactive classes, and hands-on projects. They will learn about the diverse wildlife found in the rainforests and coral reefs of Belize, as well as the history and traditions of the indigenous people who call this country home.
Children will also have the opportunity to learn some basic Kekchi Mayan and Garifuna phrases spoken in Belize, as well as participate in cooking classes to make traditional Belizean dishes.
